Community Dream Tending Workshop
This is the first of a series of Dream Circles we are hosting at our shop in downtown Santa Barbara in partnership with renowned dream psychologist Dr. Barbara Bain, whose perspective and methodology is shaped by her Shasta-Kanaka California Indian lineage.
Price: Sliding scale $25-$50

First Thursday Natural Dyeing Workshop
Save the date for our next First Thursday event on September 3rd!
We'll be joined by natural dye artist Felise Gutierrez who will guide us through the ancient tradition of indigo dyeing. Her practice is informed by her time spent in Oaxaca learning from Zapotec weavers and dyers.
Guests will have the opportunity to dye their own clothing (your chance to upcycle that stained shirt you loved!)

Fashion Show Fundraiser
Save the date for our biggest event of the year in Santa Barbara, CA on November 19, 2026!
Last year our Regenerative Runway featured icons like Alice Waters and Penny Livingston who modeled our handwoven bags created by Wayuu designers in our Yala'yalaa School for Women's Empowerment.
This year's event will take place at Santa Barbara's historic El Paseo Restaurant, just steps from our shop! Tickets & more info coming soon!
We've been chosen for the UNA Peace Prize!
On September 22 our Co-Founder & Executive Director, Jackie Gilbert, will be honored with the UN Association Peace Prize for her work with One Thread Collective.
The Prize is given each year to an individual who has achieved worldwide impact in the service of peace in a way that is tangible and measurable.
